Like most entrepreneurs
this journey wasn’t exactly what I had dreamed of as a little girl. To be honest, this journey didn’t even exist when I was a little girl! Having an online business that allows me to work from anywhere, anytime!? Nope, that was not on our career list in Career and Personal Planning class.
I came across the online business world and website design by total fluke! Call it fluke or call it fate, but looking back I can see everything happened as it was meant to!
So the story goes…

2018 - 2022
Teach hair styling at a fashion/hair/make up school
2017-2018
Get my dream job at a dream salon and do some amazing hair!
2011-2017
Graduate highschool, move to the big city, go to hair school!
2006 - 2010
was that I would fall in love with helping women take their businesses to the next level through Website Design and Strategy. When I realized that was when I knew, everything brought me to this! Helping women grow their businesses doing what I love? What a dream!
What I didn’t know...
And then I was like hey! I feel pretty confident with building websites since I’ve been learning for a year. Why not invest in a program, learn it even better and learn the business side of it. And just go for it!
And so I did…
And in the end of 2021 I had realized I needed to leave my corporate job (long story, I’ll tell you someday!) and I couldn’t do hair anymore (short short version, I have chronic pain which makes doing a lot of things very difficult).
I spent the next year learning and playing with web design just for fun.
Yay, hurray, so proud of myself! But what I did not know at this time was that I would fall in love with website design! I had some thoughts when I built that website that maayyybe some day. Maybe some day I will do something with website design.
In 2020 I launched a mobile blow dry bar business and built a website!
Okay, so where does website design come in?
What is it like working with me?
- I grew up in the wine capital of Canada - Oliver, BC
- I love learning new things
- I’m not very good at most sports (I run like Pheobe from friends, iykyk) but I love playing tennis!
- There’s nothing like diving into a good novel
- I married the love of my life TWICE! We had a Sikh wedding on July 21st, 2022 and our Catholic wedding on July 22nd, 2022
- I have had the desire to travel the world and experience different cultures and traditions ever since I was a little girl growing up in a small town of 4,000 people
